Opportunity

We were tasked to create a virtual kick-off, in-office activations across the world each week. To boost engagement and drive innovation, we curated a virtual activation in the form of an AR challenge/treasure hunt activation to engage a global audience and celebrate the key strategic messages for the year ahead, in the most engaging, energetic, and community-focused way.

Solutions

Access to the experience was granted via a QR code that took users to the campaign microsite, gaining access to event information, quizzes, mini-games and a schedule, each mini game either unlocked a hidden augmented reality moment or a timed quiz, providing attendees with an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge gained from the event. Users would then open a tab which loaded to a camera which would point to a physical map. Each time the user plays a mini game, collects a hidden AR moment or answered a question on the pop quiz correctly, they were taken to the Global leaderboard tab, which add points to their global score and move up on the Global leaderboard. At the end of the event, a grand prize is given away to the person at the top of the leaderboard.

The experience was built as a single page application (SPA) which was a self-contained experience using react.js, Tailwind CSS, PlayCanvas and 8th Wall.
